The goal

Make the best five-card hand — or bet so everyone else folds. You get two private cards, and five shared cards are dealt face-up. Your best five out of those seven wins the pot.

A hand, step by step

1. Blinds — two players post forced bets (small & big blind) so there's always something to play for.
2. Hole cards — everyone gets two private cards, then the first betting round (pre-flop).
3. The flop — three shared cards hit the table. Bet again.
4. The turn — a fourth shared card, another betting round.
5. The river — the fifth and last shared card, final betting round.
6. Showdown — anyone left reveals; the best five-card hand takes the pot.

Tournaments

The host posts a tournament — tap Register or drop its CUP-code. Everyone starts with the same stack, blinds rise over time, short tables merge together, and the last Citizen standing wins. Each turn has a countdown, so don't get blinded out.
